Beth Jacobs is 3Pillar’s VP of Product Strategy & Partnerships. Prior to joining 3Pillar, Beth held senior leadership roles in digital and mobile product management, operations, and business development at Fortune 100 digital media and technology companies such as The Washington Post, AOL, Nokia, The Weather Channel, Cox Interactive, and AT&T.
She most recently served as GM of Mobile at The Washington Post, heading up the company’s mobile business, strategy, and product management across all mobile platforms, as well as overseeing strategic partnerships in the wireless space. At AOL, Beth served as VP of Mobile Business Development, where she led global, mobile communications strategic partnerships and transactions, managing $60+MM partnerships with US and global wireless carriers, handset manufacturers, and third-party technology vendors, as well as overseeing partnerships with Apple, Google, RIM, Nokia, and Samsung. Other leadership roles include senior business development and marketing positions at software and digital media companies such as Allconnect, Synchrologic (now Nokia), The Weather Channel, and Cox Interactive Media. She began her career at AT&T in sales and product marketing.
Beth has an MBA in Marketing and International Business from New York University’s Stern School of Business and a BA in International Relations and Japanese Studies from Bucknell University; and studied abroad in Kyoto, Japan. She is active in several industry associations including The Mobile Marketing Association (MMA), CTIA The Wireless Association, The Online Publishers Association (OPA), Women in Wireless, Women in Technology, and is a native of Washington, DC. Beth was named to Mobile Marketer’s Mobile Women To Watch 2012 list.
